A brief description of how the results of the assessment(s) are used in shaping policy, programs, and initiatives:
The climate survey was conducted involving students, faculty and staff. The university then conducted one-to-one interviews with more persons of color using the survey instrument to meaningfully capture their responses. Responses were aggregated into one document that has been used to inform classroom awareness about how some students of color experience Puget Sound. This will continue with faculty and staff. We also are using the data to drive the work of our Campus Climate Task Force, a subcommittee of the Diversity Advisory Council.
