A brief description of how multiple stakeholder groups were involved in developing the plan:
The Sustainability Advisory Committee (SAC) includes faculty, staff, and students and meets monthly during the school year. SAC has five subcommittees that manage various portions of STARS. Each subcommittee compiled data for their STARS report section and participated in developing provisional STARS scores. SAC and its subcommittees also utilized STARS assessments to identify next priorities and objectives for enhancing sustainability and improving STARS ratings.
Reports on assessments, priorities and next objectives are provided to the president's cabinet for review and endorsement.

Plans and recommendations are based on priorities determined after reviewing STARS self ratings. Plans include increased measurement of student volunteer hours and creating faculty and sustainability advocates.

Puget Sound's next STARS report and ratings is being used to assess plan successes. On an ongoing basis, each subcommittee and the entire SAC committee will annually assess and update existing goals and establish new goals as appropriate.
