Institution has a sustainability committee, office, and/or coordinator that are tasked by the administration or board of trustees to advise on and implement policies and programs related to sustainability on campus.
The committee, office, and/or coordinator focus on sustainability broadly (i.e. not just one sustainability issue, such as climate change) and cover the entire institution. A committee, office, or coordinator that focuses on just one department or school within the institution does not count for this credit.
This credit applies to all institutions.
Institutions earn 3 points for having a committee, office, or officer that meets the criteria outlined above. Partial points are not available for this credit.
