A brief description of the snow and ice removal program, policy, or practice:
Removal practices are to clear entrances, stairs and walkways of snow and ice. We use shovels, a snow blower and a sweeper brush. For large amounts of snow, plowing of parking areas and streets is contracted. Only when necessary is ice melt (made from potassium chloride) applied to sidewalks or drive areas. Occasionally sand is applied to driveways and hills when necessary for traction.
