Puget Sound’s practice is to protect campus wildlife habitat as follows:
1. Install plant material that provides food source
2. Leave areas of campus to provide cover and wildlife habitat; e.g. the President’s Woods is a natural area
3. Avoid areas where nesting takes place (such as natural bird nests)
4. Consult with the Biology department on appropriate habitat endeavors
