Please note that assured reports are still subject to review by AASHE staff prior to publication, which may require additional revisions. AASHE reserves the right to withhold points for this credit if it is determined that the assurance process was clearly unsuccessful in identifying and resolving inconsistencies or errors (e.g., when AASHE staff identify a significant number of issues that were either not mentioned in the completed review template or not resolved successfully).

The name, title, and organizational affiliation of each reviewer:

A brief description of the institution’s assurance process:
INTERNAL QUALITY CONTROL AND REVIEW

1) Every credit submitted under this 2024 University of Pittsburgh AASHE STARS re-submission was reviewed by Esmee de Cortie, who did not otherwise document any credit (and was thus independent).

2) Prior to all credits reaching Esmee for final review, one of the individuals listed in the box above (and sometimes both) reviewed every credit submitted under this 2024 University of Pittsburgh AASHE STARS re-submission. If one of the individuals above was the Responsible Party for a given credit, a separate individual would review the credit in question.

Additionally, as part of internal credit review, many individuals from the Pitt Sustainability staff team and governance bodies not designated as Responsible Parties were often contacted for information, verification, and/or validation of statements, references, information, and links. https://www.sustainable.pitt.edu/team/staff/
