APC fund
Yes
A brief description of the open access APC fund:
The University of Pittsburgh has shifted its strategy regarding open access APC away from a distinct APC Fund. Instead, Pitt has a growing set of negotiated publisher agreements that allow for Open Access publishing with no or reduced fees for institutional authors. This new strategy is an improvement on the one-by-one APC fund because it has much broader impact for both authors and readers, does not perpetuate the individual APS model, which the Library considers inequitable; it is also more sustainable from a resource investment perspective.

The University currently has agreements with 17 publishers, a complete list of publisher agreements can be found at https://library.pitt.edu/publish-agreements and an overview of our Open Access publishing support https://library.pitt.edu/publishing-open-access
