Does the institution host a food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource focused on alleviating food insecurity, hunger and poverty among students?:
Yes

A brief description of the food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource:

The University of Pittsburgh is committed to ensuring that all students have regular access to healthy food options. Created in Spring 2015, the Pitt Pantry is dedicated to ensuring that all students have regular access to a balanced and nutritious diet by hosting regular shopping hours to obtain food and services. It is completely volunteer-run and operates on a combination of charitable donations and a partnership with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. Located in Bellefield Presbyterian Church (4001 Fifth Ave, right in the heart of campus), members of the Pitt community can visit the Pitt Pantry during set hours (and now online) to select needed items.
