Since this is the initial submission and completion of this section, the baseline year of 2015 was chosen based on the OSHA requirement to maintain OSHA 200 logs for three (3) years.

The department of EH&S employs 21 staff members to oversee all activities. Our OSHA recordable rate (1.04) compares favorably to the national rate of 1.8 for Universities as reported by Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
