The University of Pittsburgh cares deeply about the health and well-being of every student. We’ve established a comprehensive health care program at Student Health Service (SHS) that includes an outpatient clinic with an array of medical services, a full-service pharmacy, and robust health education programming. The health and wellness of Pitt faculty and staff members is a priority. Pitt's Wellness for Life program focuses on proactive health care management. Services are offered to promote positive lifestyle activities and choices. A healthy lifestyle may reduce health care cost escalation for Pitt staff members and their family. Pitt offers numerous health and wellness programs and services to complement our medical benefits plans. Faculty and staff can also participate in the wellness incentives program for the 2017-2018 plan year by earning reward dollars for every healthy activity completed.
