Members of Penn Sustainability, Penn Procurement, and Business Services has formed an EV Transition Working Group, charged with developing central sourcing expertise, establishing an ongoing forum for idea/knowledge-sharing, updating EV buying guidance, learning for third-party IRA engagement, engaging Penn’s Engineering & Energy Planning team, and conducting a benchmark study on higher ed best practices.
Penn Transportation operates a propane fueling station at the Pennovation campus.
Penn Sustainability has developed and published a guidance document to help vehicle purchasers with buying low- and zero-emission vehicles. This guidance is updated annually by Penn Sustainability, with assistance from fleet managers and Penn Procurement.
Twelve publicly accessible EV charging stations are on Penn's campus.
