Part 2. Sustainability-focused certificate program
A brief description of the certificate program(s):
The Executive Program in Design for Sustainability is a certificate program offered by the Stuart Weitzman School of Design. The program is created specifically for Built Environment professionals seeking to elevate their career and increase their design impact by building competency in the technology demanding aspects of designing high performing environmental buildings.
The certificate in Climate Change is offered through the College of Liberal and Professional Studies. It focuses on giving students an understanding of the Earth's climate system and how and why it has changed over time. Goals include assessing mechanisms that drive climate change and the development of communication skills to more effectively share an understanding of climate change and its relevant policy implications with a broad audience.
