A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
Most of employee orientation is handled at a departmental level at Penn. Facilities and Real Estate Services provided an overview video of Penn's Climate and Sustainability Action Plan 3.0 to the all-staff meeting in 2021 (~900 staff). Penn Dining provides a sustainability and food waste training at their kick off meeting for all of their staff (~350 staff). All offices that are Green Office certified provide sustainability training to all of their employees (~850 staff).
