The University of Ottawa conducts a modal use survey every few years to gain a better understanding of how the campus community commutes to the campus. The most recent survey was conducted in 2019.
The survey is conducted by a third party organization with expertise in conducting commuting surveys. It is done in accordance with the criteria established by the University of Ottawa's Institutional Research and Planning group.
The survey meets all the University standards required for a representative sample.
