A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:
The University of Ottawa has used electric vehicles in its tunnels for over 30 years. These vehicles help move operations staff around campus more quickly and efficiently.
The University is currently looking at how it can reduce its carbon footprint by leasing more electric vehicles. At the time of reporting, no electric vehicles have been leased.
