Yes

A brief description of the institution’s sustainability partnerships with the local community:

The Centre for Global and Community Engagement has partnerships with organizations such as Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Canadian Organic Growers, Equiterre and Action Chelsea for the Respect of the Environment. They all aim to help people and the environment.

“With the participation of more than 1500 students, 130 professors and 350 community groups during the past year, the Experiential Learning Service (ELS) brings substantial benefits to a wide variety of community groups and not-for-profit organizations in the National Capital Region and elsewhere. The ELS also works with for-profit companies on projects that build social capital and exemplify corporate responsibility.

By getting involved with the ELS, you will have the opportunity to enhance both the resources of your organization and the learning experience of students.” (from website)
