A brief description of the employee wellness program, policy, or practice:
University has a wellness committee, Active and Healthy Campus, for all employees. Its mandate is to promote determine needs of the employee population and implement wellness activities and initiatives:

Strategic objective in HR
Health, Wellness and Leave in Human Resources has the mandate to organize wellness activities, implement policies and procedures that foster work/life balance and address needs of the employee population. Mental Health Strategy is in the process of being developed and implementation is planned for the fall. It has an off-site counselling service offered by a group of consultants, Shepell.fgi. Also on site is a health clinic staffed by doctors, nurse practitioners and nurses which offer smoke cessation, weight management and other specialized services to employees and students.
