A brief description of the technology used:

Introduced in 2002, the University established lighting guidelines which saw the introduction of lighting sensors in all new and renovated buildings. Currently installed in Colonel By, Lamoureux, Fauteux, Morriset; all new buildings since 2003 use motion or vacancy sensing sensors.
