The University of Ottawa is aiming to be a carbon neutral campus as well as reducing the carbon emissions to a minimum on a cost effective basis.

Whereas Copenhagen Accord aims to reduce emissions by 17% by 2020, the University of Ottawa plans to reduce 35% of emissions by 2015.
