Assess sustainability issues and submit recommendations to the Administrative Committee;
• Suggest policies to improve the University of Ottawa’s performance in the Campus Sustainability Assessment Framework (CSAF);
• Create and manage projects that seek to improve sustainability on campus; and
• Create and manage volunteer based sub-committees oriented around sustainable development issues.”

The university of Ottawa’s sustainability office looks at sustainability related issues and figures out how things can be improved, makes recommendations to the university on mainly physical issues in hopes of strategic advancement. The campus Sustainability Office was created in 2006 to coordinate, promote and implement the University’s sustainable development activities. The Office hopes to develop positive solutions for today’s economic, social and environmental challenges. It
