A brief description of the guidelines for franchisees:

The University of Ottawa extends some of its environmental practices to its franchisees. In the University’s last contract it asked that the food service provider eliminate Styrofoam, increase composting options, and offer discounts for reusable mugs. There is however no strict policy in place.
