University of Oregon sources electricity from Eugene Water and Electric Board which reports carbon intensity factors to the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality. EWEB's reported carbon intensity factor has declined significantly since 2003 and accounts for much of the reduction in UO's scope 2 emissions.
