Which of the following best describes the institution’s approach to rainwater management?:
Comprehensive policies, plans or guidelines that require LID practices for all new projects

A brief description of the institution’s green infrastructure and LID practices:
The UO Eugene campus is under the City of Eugene jurisdiction and subject to all applicable City codes and ordinances, including stormwater management. The City of Eugene prioritizes green infrastructure for stormwater management. As a result, any new project on campus that increases impervious area must manage the stormwater with vegetated stormwater facilities. In addition to adding vegetated stormwater facilities with new projects, UO looks for opportunities to add facilities to existing conditions to reduce impact.

UO also has a stormwater management manual that can be found here in Section 2 of the University's Comprehensive Environmental Policy:

The UO owns and maintains a significant stormwater management system across campus. The system includes over 49 miles of stormwater pipe, and over 4400 stormwater structures.
