The numbers for this category represent new construction and only the square footage added to existing buildings. There are over 100 projects of concurrent renovation and repair at any time and there is no way currently to differentiate between changing a light bulb and knocking down walls in renovation.

Totals of Gross Square Feet supplied by Campus Planning Facilities Management, (Office of Design and Construction). Total Gross Square Feet (GSF) supplied on annual basis. 5-year new construction total comes from difference in years 2015-2019.

All new and renovated buildings over 10k GSF must be certified LEED Gold per the Oregon Model of Sustainable Development (found in the Design Principle 10 document in this link):
