Name or title of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:
Internal Carbon Pricing Model
A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
Dr. Trudy Cameron, an expert in stated preference methods led a research project that establishes faculty, staff, and students willingness-to-pay for direct emissions reductions at their home institutions. This project allows administrators to develop internal carbon pricing programs and test support among a wide range of stakeholder groups. The model is transferrable between institutions of higher education with minimal adjustments and therefore offers value well beyond the University of Oregon.
