Sustainability Open Houses
A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
Sustainability Open Houses bring together staff, faculty, and students to share their work furthering sustainability at University of Oregon. These quarterly meetings foster collaboration between faculty and staff, build community, and support campus as a living lab.
These meetings are a collaboration between our Student Sustainability Center, Environmental Studies, and the Office of Sustainability. They include micro-presentations from varied faculty, staff, and student groups and time for networking and engagement. The Vice President for Finance and Administration offers $5000 in grant funding to further faculty-staff collaborations that arise from these meetings.
