The Environmental Leaders Academic Residential Community (ARC) is a living-learning community where first-year students live in the same residence hall with like-minded peers and take classes together: Introduction to Environmental Studies - Humanities in Fall quarter and Topics in the Environmental Leaders ARC, a year-long, research, leadership, and project-based seminar. The ARC also begins with a multi-day orientation trip where students camp together and learn about specific sustainability themes and topics in the local area.
