A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:
In addition to increasing the number of electric vehicles, a Biodiesel fueling station was installed on-site. Separately, SeQuential Pacific Biodiesel collects spent fryer oil from campus kitchens to create fuel, creating a closed-loop production cycle that yields an environmentally friendly product while also benefiting the local economy.
