University of Oregon Bookstore Partnership

A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome :
The University of Oregon's Sustainability Office partnered with the University of Oregon Bookstore to sell Oregon branded clothing made from recycled materials. Two dollars from every sale goes into an account managed by the Office of Sustainability to be used to advance campus sustainability programming. The UO Bookstore recently agreed to expand the partnership by providing a guaranteed $10,000 annually for five years to support a program designed to increase the number of sustainability focused courses offered at the University of Oregon.

The above mentioned curriculum development project would not have been funded without the Bookstore partnership.
