Data source(s) and notes about the submission:

The total of students engaged in community service is the sum of student volunteer reported by representatives from each of the 39 organizations, programs and events we captured. It is very likely that some of these students volunteer in more than one of these 39 sources. At the same time, however, there are more than 39 organizations, programs and events on campus that involve student volunteers in community service- almost certainly more than the number of students potentially-double counted above. Therefore, we are leaving this number as-is, and will work toward a more centralized, comprehensive way to track student service on campus in future STARS reports.

The student #s above were for the 2009-2010 acedemic year.
