A brief description of how the institution ensures compliance with sustainable building operation and maintenance guidelines and policies:
All new UO buildings use the State of Oregon sustainability standard based on LEED 2.0 which we call Department of Administrative Services LEED, or DAS-LEED. Here is the link to this polcicy: http://www.oregon.gov/DAS/FAC/docs/1256010.pdf?ga=t
This policy includes standards for the operation and maintenance buildings, including the site, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, and indoor environmental quality.
Buildings covered under this standard include Autzen Stadium's main concourse, the Lorry I. Lokey Laboratories, the HEDCO Education Building, Peterson Hall, the James F. Miller Theatre Complex, the Marabel B. FrohnMayer Music Building, the Moss Street Children's Center, the Living-Learning Center Buildings, and the University Health, Counseling and Testing Center.
