In 2008 a team of graduate students in the Environmental Leadership Program produced "Towards a Sustainable Food System." It describes existing components of UO's sustainable food systems and offers recommendations for strengthening it. The UO has a 60 to 90 minute self-guided sustainability walking tour brochure, which includes a tour map. The tour takes visitors on a 2 mile route that highlights our most important sustainably-designed buildings and sustainability-oriented programs.

The UO has a few guides on alternative transportation. The UO Climate Leadership Initiative published a Climate Master Handbook with several tips and ideas for using alternative transportation (page 43). Many of these tips are specific to Eugene.
In addition, the UO Department of Public Safety provides detailed information about all of the alternative transportation options at the UO. These include our Access Shuttle, AlterNetRides, Bicycling, the City2City Shuttle, the Guaranteed Ride Home program, Park & Ride options,
