A brief description of the institution’s sustainability projects fund:

The Eco-Fund was presented as a Senior Class Gift by the Class of 2008. Thanks to continued donations from friends, family, and alumni, the fund continues to grow. The Eco-Fund provides small grants for programs that enhance sustainability at Notre Dame. No financial payback is required; however, applicants must demonstrate that matching funding has been obtained from another source.

The Office of Sustainability in conjunction with the Sustainability Standing Committee and departmental partners determine which projects received funding through the University's EcoFund.
