A brief description of the institution’s program to support employee volunteering:

The University supports employee volunteerism by providing support and access to volunteer opportunities for employees to participate individually or as part of team-building activities. Depending on the manager, some units participate in the Pokagon Band Food Box program and Cultivate Culinary. In 2021, the Campus Safety and University Operations division, which comprises most of the operational units on campus, established a Community Service board which seeks and promotes additional opportunities for employees. Employee Resource Groups managed by Human Resources also are provided resources to sponsor additional service opportunities for their specific audiences.
