Students - All undergraduate students are required to take a two semester sequence. The Moreau First Year Experience gives students the opportunity to begin forming life-long habits of the mind as well as an engagement in faith, service, arts, wellness, and community. A collaborative effort between First Year of Studies and the Division of Student Affairs, it affirms the diversity and inclusion of the all first-year students.

Staff - All non supervisory staff members are required to attend a class We are All ND and 80% have completed the requirement. This half day workshop is an effort to allow each and every member of our community to unite behind a common goal as we work to cultivate a spirit of inclusion at Notre Dame. Diversity and Inclusion is included in all required onboarding for new staff. Courses in multicultural competencies/hiring game changers are required of senior staff and those responsible for hiring decisions.

Faculty - All senior leadership and deans have participated in diversity workshops. Two one-day workshops have been held for faculty in 2016-17 school year. More initiatives are planned for the 2017-18 school year.
