Research at the University of Notre Dame is guided by the University's Strategic Plan, A Legacy Expanded. Within the University's Strategic Plan, Research and Scholarship are highlighted as one of the University's five goals, including Catholic Character, Undergraduate Education, Stewardship, and External Engagement, that provide a framework for Notre Dame's distinctive mission.
