The University of Northern Iowa helped to develop the Iowa Board of Regents Sustainability Plan that is one guiding document in the sustainability efforts of all the schools within the Board of Regents.

UNI has engaged in a number of partnerships that are not required within our sustainability plan that increase efficiencies at multiple universities. In many cases these come in the way of joint purchasing agreements for things such as green cleaning.
