The University of Northern Iowa has entered into a joint purchasing agreement with the University of Iowa for Green Cleaning Products. With few exceptions, all cleaning products in this contract are Green Seal and EcoLogo certified products. All cleaning products on both campuses must be purchased through this contract.
In addition to the green cleaning products, we have purchased a number of new pieces of cleaning equipment that are green in nature and are specifically designed to be more environmentally friendly, use less water, and typically require less staff time to operate.
