There are a range of opportunities offered at UNBC related to sustainability trainings and professional development opportunities some of which include:
- Natural Resources and Environmental Studies weekly colloquium series on topics related to sustainability and other environmental issues;
- Faculty and Teaching Staff workshops on sustainability during Teaching and Learning Conference;
- Departmental presentations on sustainability provided by the Green University Centre staff;
- Partnerships with other organizations to organize large training opportunities facilitated by experts (i.e. Community Based Social Marketing Training)
