A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome :
The UNBC Green Fund provides seed grants for innovative projects designed to create a more sustainable campus. The fund was created from UNBC parking revenues and a total of $50,000 per academic year is available to fund projects.
Green project proposals are accepted by the Green University Planning Committee (GUPC), a multi-stakeholder committee of senior administration, staff, faculty, students and campus groups including the Prince George Public Interest Research Group and the Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions.
