A brief description of the event(s):

Each year, the Office of Sustainability, in conjunction with other campus units, hosts events related to sustainability. These vary year to year but most events occur in the Fall or Spring semesters. In Spring 2012, UNT will host a sustainability themed Emerald Eagle Ball, honoring exceptional students and fundraising for future scholarships. Additionally, the Office of Sustainability works with UNT's Distinguished Lecture Series to host guest speakers that work in sustainability related fields,
