University of North Georgia has the following diversity and equity staffing:
Student Affairs: the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs is present on both the Gainesville and Dahlonega campuses. They provide programming on all the campuses fostering co-curricular experiences which improve students' experience and prepare them to be global citizens that will thrive in diverse environments.

MSA Student Ambassador Program: The Office of Multicultural Student Affairs MSA Ambassador Program is for students that are dedicated to serving and representing the office, our programs, and our mission of assisting and supporting in all efforts to recruit and retain underrepresented students by providing special assistance with personal, social or academic concerns, as well as other guidance. MSA Ambassadors selected will help host MSA Events and act as a student liaison to various communities/entities that the office serves.

The Faculty Senate and the Staff Council collaborate on the Diversity Council. This is an advisory group to the President/Cabinet. The Director for Diversity and Inclusion is an ex-officio member.
Director for Diversity and Inclusion (chief diversity officer) was hired in February 2019.

Residential Life: Orientation trainings during the fall and in-service trainings throughout the school year prepare the residential student staff to work.
Multicultural Student Affairs (MSA): The office coordinates trainings through its student organization, Diplomats of Diversity program. The office works in conjunction with other student organizations to host
C4 certificate Program: Hosted by MSA, the Cultural Competence Co-Curricular Certificate (C4) engages University of North Georgia Undergraduate and Graduate Students with the opportunity to enhance one’s cultural diversity understanding. C4 is crafted to offer students participants an opportunity to learn more about the ideals of diversity, equity, and inclusion while providing a greater understanding of how we can and should work together to build a stronger and more inclusive Nighthawk community. Participants will also gain valuable knowledge and skills that will enable them to more effectively work and lead in the workplace.

The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Leadership (CTLL), coordinates the Teaching Conversation Series. This series introduces different topics, of which diversity and inclusion are sometimes provided.
The Office of Diversity and Inclusion provides diversity and inclusion trainings on the five campuses. It is currently developing a training with the CTLL and the Office of the General Counsel around the Difficulty Dialogues model.
All Business majors has to complete the 'Professional Roadmap to Ongoing Success' (PROS) which includes a workshop on 'Diversity in the Workplace' that discusses how the workplace makeup is constantly changing and evolving. Diversity isn’t always something measurable and also includes education, personality, and experiences. As companies learn to maximize the potential of all employees, innovation and returns increase. The workshop is the third workshop for the "core" portion of the PROS program, and students are required to submit a 1 page reflection on what they learned.
You will need to RSVP for this event and you will need to make sure you sign in.
This workshop is the third workshop for the "core" portion of the PROS program. Students who attend the workshop should submit their reflection in Suitable within 30 days in order to to be eligible for PROS credit. This workshop may not be repeated for additional points.
Human Resources provides supervisor trainings that encompass diversity and inclusion as a topic.
College of Education Diversity Certificate is a series of master’s level seminars, include Special Topics in Diversity, Special Topics in Education and Diverse Issues in Professional Settings. Themes covered have included cultural identity and preconceptions, internal and external oppression, discrimination, and many others.
