A brief description of the sustainable operations and maintenance policy/program and/or O+M rating system(s) used:
Approximately 40% of our building SF use green cleaning such as certified green chemicals or ionized water and automated building controls for HVAC and lighting.
Green cleaning - Our custodial staff uses ionized water machines to clean and sanitize surfaces without the use of harmful chemicals. When possible, if any additional miscellaneous cleaning agents are purchased, they are certified green chemicals. However, purchasing cleaning agents is rare.
Building Automation Systems - This square footage also includes the amount covered by building automation systems with programmed lighting controls, HVAC systems that have unoccupied modes for energy efficiency, etc.
