A brief description of the food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource:
The UNG Food Pantry will provide non-perishable food items and basic supplies to food insecure students, staff, faculty and locals in need. There are food pantries located on the Gainesville and the Dahlonega Campuses. Each semester we offer volunteer opportunities to UNG students to help them see the importance of giving back to their community.
UNG has recently also added a food pantry to its Oconee campus. See notes for link to description.
