A brief description of the practice:
Admissions is making a huge effort to go paperless. It is the standard practice not to print the catalog, course schedules and directories. It is all online. We are scanning all documents and are no longer making up student files but rather instituting a "Virtual Student File". As soon as files are scanned and uploaded, the files are shredded and subsequently recycled. The academic advising leadership along with ITS have created an online file for each student where we cut and paste all email and type notes on each student.
