A brief description of the institution’s program(s) to encourage student research in sustainability:
The Environmental Center offers research positions to students to study various aspects of campus sustainability and its natural assets. The positions vary depending on funding, but a few of the ongoing projects include a Campus Natural Assets Inventory, annual waste audit and lake monitoring. Students may also work with a faculty member and apply for a Seed Grant, which are used to fund new environmental or sustainability research projects at UNF.
