A brief description of the institution’s main campus and other aspects of the institutional boundary used to complete this report:
UNCW is North Carolina's coastal university. Settled 4 miles from the Atlantic Ocean, UNCW's 76-year-old campus has beautiful Georgian architecture and various natural areas. Constantly building and advancing, UNCW is committed to utilizing space, time, resources, and funds as effectively and efficiently as possible.
For this report, we will report on the university's main campus, the Center for Marine Science (a satellite campus 8 miles from the campus core), and the university's various conservation areas for education and research.
