A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:

The Garage/Motorpool is heavily involved with future purchases of vehicles and equipment and is moving forward in educating the campus about alternative fueled vehicles and is striving to limit UNCW’s dependency on fossil-fueled vehicles/equipment. The expansion of UNCW electric vehicle charging ports shows the inititaives of the university to continue to grow the alternative fuel and power technology on campus.
