A brief description of the sustainability newsletter or social media platform:

A monthly newsletter goes out to anyone who is on the Sustainability Advisory Board or voluntarily opts-in. Every person who signs the Sustainability Pledge has the opportunity to opt-in to receive the newsletter. The newsletter includes information about UNCW's and the community's various sustainability programs, volunteer opportunities, grants, call for papers, networking opportunities, career opportunities, and readings. Our office also has many active social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Tik Tok to reach the broader campus community and provide education and awareness about sustainability issues and events.

Signs located around campus highlight various sustainability features, including the zero-waste dining facilities, sustainably developed athletic fields, stormwater control measures, etc.

Yes

A brief description of the sustainability walking map or tour:

The Sustainability Peer Educator program provides a sustainability walking tour to University-101 classes and any other course as requested. This tour highlights sustainability features on campus such as nature-based solutions to stormwater control, alternative transportation methods, recycling resources, campus green spaces, etc. This tour has alos been provided to several community organizations and life-long learning institutions. The office also collaborates with the Environmental Science Department to provide sustainability walking tours to all students enrolled in the Intro to Environmental Science class. The UNCW Campus Interactive Map also includes many sustainability features which can be highlighted directly through the Sustainability filter.
