A survey was first sent to assess the level of importance that employees placed on several areas including communication, advancement opportunities, work culture, job satisfaction and learning opportunities, etc. A follow-up survey was sent to assess how employees felt the university responds to the wants and needs.

The survey results were shared with the Chancellor and had influence on his Strategic Plan.
